Allround wine freak, with proven track record. A generalist, someone with demonstrated experience and knowledge, who has an open and creative mind, who can articulate relations between known domains and new ideas. what i do
I have 20+ years of experience in wine sales. The first 5 years of my career I sold wine to consumers in specialised high-end wine shops. This allowed me to learn both to engage effectively with a wide range of types of consumers I helped, and to ask the right questions to consumers trying to navigate the impossibly difficult world of wine. I have tasted and drank some of the most famous and unique wines in the world.
In the following 14 years I worked for a large national importer. A completely different scope in term of volumes, but with the same focus on quality and drive to find the right wine for the right occasion. Wine became a professional business for me, something I have thoroughly enjoyed. During these years, I have learned much about both the buying and sales side of the business.
